MODEL 30 CLASSIC™ Pneumatonometer

The Model 30 Classic™ Pneumatonometer is an easy to use instrument which provides fast and accurate tonometry and optional tonography functions. Utilizing a pneumatic pump and 5mm soft silicone contact area, the Model 30 Classic™ Pneumatonometer records 40 readings per second and displays real time readings of intraocular pressure. In pulse tonometry mode, the ocular pulse waveform is charted and recorded along with IOP.

Unique Methodology
The Model 30 Classic Pneumatonometer measures intraocular pressure noninvasively through applanation tonometry. A gentle, floating pneumatic sensor touches the surface of the anesthetized cornea with the exact amount of applanation force required to take the measurement.

The integrated chart strip recorder can be placed in patient files as a record of the diagnostic procedure. The optional footswitch (standard with tonography unit) makes obtaining measurements even easier, freeing the operator to concentrate on handling the sensor probe.

The Model 30 Classic Pneumatonometer provides ocular pulse amplitude measurements in addition to tonometry measurements. The optional tonography mode allows the unit to measure the aqueous outflow efficiency of the trabecular meshwork.
